On February 7th and 8th, Z Lab gathered in Nanjing for our annual New Year Party—two days of letting loose, looking back, and charging up for what's next.
Our celebration kicked off with the "Pirate" talent show, proving once again that lab people have hidden depths. Soaring vocals and high-energy dance routines had everyone cheering from the seats. It was a refreshing reminder that we're more than just our experiments. The evening banquet kept the momentum going with group games and plenty of laughter, leaving us with precious memories that will stay with us for a long time.
Day two shifted the focus to our research. Groups took turns sharing their year's work in quick, punchy sessions, followed by the Research Breakthrough Awards recognizing standout contributions. The captain closed things out with reflections on the year gone by and thoughts on where we're headed.
