Held on June 15 at the Suzhou Campus of Nanjing University, the farewell gathering for the Class of 2026 was staged as a sincere salute to devoted teachers and a commemoration of precious times with fellow students.
Graduate representatives took turns to speak firstly. They looked back on the careful guidance they had received from teachers during their research journeys, and shared their experiences of adjusting their mindset and overcoming difficulties when faced with challenges with junior students. Additionally, they openly shared practical tips for job hunting without reservation. Afterwards, the captain delivered a graduation message based on real-life situations, encouraging everyone to elevate their spiritual pursuits and cultivate the ability to embrace delayed gratification.
Then all guests moved to the dinner venue for the banquet. At the start of the meal, teachers cut the cake for the graduates, filling the air with an increasingly warm atmosphere. Younger students also came forward one after another to send their sincerest wishes. Laughter and cheerful conversations echoed throughout the dinner.
May the graduates embrace their future journey bravely, bearing in mind the teachers' teachings and classmates' blessings. We also hope they will often come back to their alma mater and revisit the warm memories created here.
