The annual Pirates' Day event was once again successfully held. This year's gathering took place at the Suzhou Campus of Nanjing University on September 20th and 21st. The first day featured a full agenda: Captain's Speech, Team Introductions, New Pirates Induction Ceremony, Tea Break, Selection of Outstanding Contribution Awards and Team Responsibility Changes, followed by a particularly memorable session — Alumni Talks. And then we rounded off this fruitful day with a banquet. Captain Jia delivered a speech titled The Value Guardians of Our Pirate Ship, emphasizing the symbiotic relationship between the pirate ship, our student members, and the broader society, while also painting an inspiring vision for our future. We were also honored to invite back pirates from both industry and academia, who shared valuable insights and engaged in lively discussions.
On the second day, the pirates joined a campus tour and took part in an ice-breaking journey, fostering stronger connections and shared memories. Wishing every pirate continued growth and unforgettable experiences within the Zlab family!
